Often come in the Schlegelmulchern so-called "flange bearings" are used. Simply and understandably put: bearings in a cast - housing. These are used eg as Schlegelwellenlager or as storage for the Nivelierwalze. The problem is, what to do if such a camp sometimes causes problems and needs to be replaced.
Of course, that should not be a big issue, because where you buy your machine, of course, a supply of spare parts should be available and the competent staff who sold you the device can help with advice and assistance. So there are in my company for every device sold the right parts .... And who likes it quite comfortably and knows what he needs he simply uses it here in our online shop.
Unfortunately, it does not look like that at all traders. Especially on the Internet you hardly know the "garage company" to distinguish from retailers. Great sites make it hard to make the right choice. The hardware store on the Internet offers next to Schlegelmulchern, car radios and watering cans hundreds of other products at bargain prices.
So what to do if you suddenly have problems with the nice seller on the phone or learns that the required spare part is only available in 6 weeks ... you proceeded according to the motto "even is the man or the woman" and then tried this part to find somewhere else.
As you can see in my spare parts shop, there are of course complete flange bearings to buy. Here then fits the hole size (if you know which device you have bought from us) and you simply screwed the new camp, including housing to the point to be replaced. However, the housing is usually not damaged at all, only the bearing .... So why buy the case when it is not needed and is uselessly expensive.
In the photos you can see how you can unscrew the bearing from the case with a thick screwdriver. You will notice side notches on the cast housing, where you can then turn the bearing so that you can easily remove it. The installation is then logically the other way around ... but is also very easy.
Please then take a close look at the warehouse. In contrast to the housings, which are often manufacturer-specific (and can therefore also be expensive), the bearings used are “standard parts” with an embossing on the outer or inner ring (e.g. 6202ZZ). .... In case you can't find anything, this is numbers. u maybe just can't read the digit code, or it is the cheapest china product. Otherwise just take the warehouse with you and go to the tech. Wholesale. There you can get the bearings quickly and inexpensively. Internet research using the numeric code will also drive you into online trading, which is usually even cheaper.
My tip: In stock you should not save and prefer to access a recommended retailer brand (eg SKF). You will notice that this pays off in the lifetime. But even here, unless it is maintenance-free "closed" bearings, lubricate bearings before each use!
