Versatile flail mower with large chassis for tractors with 35-65 hp

Our X-Series flail mowers are designed for tougher challenges, such as difficult terrain with bushes and shrubs. These mowers are engineered to handle even the most demanding tasks with ease. Our X-Series machines come standard with a robust chassis, an opening flap, and side shift.

Thanks to the high rotor speed, the forged hammer flails mow and shred all types of material, giving you a reliable machine that works effectively even with high material throughput.

Our XKH185 flail mower is a powerful machine for those who demand high performance but are looking for a smaller and more flexible mower. Suitable for tractors with 35-65 hp, it has a working width of 1,85 m, making it ideal for mowing, mulching, or cutting small to medium-sized grass areas or meadows. The mower's chassis features a coarse-toothed, welded counter-steel for even finer grass shredding.

Adjustable support roller and 22 hammer flails

The cutting height is adjusted using the support roller and skids. The adjustable support roller ensures the correct cutting height even on uneven terrain. The cutting height can be set from 0 to 80 mm, allowing you to mow the grass close to the ground for a more even cut. The grass is distributed evenly, and the clippings decompose more quickly. The support roller is equipped with a steel scraper that removes clippings from the roller.

At the front, the mulcher has a chain guard that follows the ground and thus protects the tractor and surrounding area from falling stones and thrown grass.

The flail mower comes standard with hammer flails. A total of 22 flails reliably shred the grass. The flail mower is also compatible with Y-blades, which are available as accessories (not included).

Hydraulic side shift and opening flap

The standard hydraulic side shift of this flail mower allows you to move the machine to the right or left. This side shift enables you to mow to the side of the tractor, reaching areas that would otherwise be difficult to access. Furthermore, the hydraulic side shift allows you to drive through uncut grass with only one set of tires, and also enables you to mow closer to ditches, fences, and other obstacles.

The mower has a flap that can be opened. Open the flap when mowing areas with a higher throughput of material. This allows you to mow unimpeded under the same conditions as with the flap closed and at normal throughput. This saves fuel and prevents premature belt wear. Furthermore, you can increase your working speed because the grass won't wrap around the roller. The grass is distributed more evenly and effectively.

The chassis of the flail mower is made of 5 mm thick steel; the side plates are 6 mm thick.

The flail mower is supplied as standard with PTO shaft, gearbox oil, hydraulic cylinder and hydraulic hoses.

A double-acting hydraulic connection on the tractor is required for the mulcher. The flail mulcher is supplied with two hydraulic hoses with ½-inch quick-release couplings (male thread).

Oil is included. Check the oil level before first use.

The machine is delivered partially assembled to ensure safe transport. Final assembly is very easy for the customer in just a few steps. Operating and assembly instructions are included.
