Talex – rotary rake model Spyder 420

The Talex company has expanded its offering with a range of high quality rotary rakes. The machine is modern, easy to use and maintain. With a range of functional solutions that significantly improve the comfort of use. The machine is intended for raking mown plant material, for example green plants and dried hay.

The rotary rake offered here has a working width of 4.200 mm

Advantages:

As standard, the machine is equipped with 11 arms, 6 of which can be easily folded up for transport using a hinge without additional tools. This gives you a transport width of approx. 2.500 mm. Each arm is equipped with four prongs made from high quality spring wire. This ensures high accuracy of the swath collection. Simple safety arms with spring mechanism.

The swath cloth is equipped with a high-quality linen apron, which is additionally reinforced with a series of 6 elastic elements. There is a way to change the width of the mold swath by choosing the right position (1 out of 5 possible).

The machine is equipped with 2 spring dampers on the left and right at the three-point point, which allows the machine to swing freely relative to the tractor up to 20° in the working position. This ensures optimal smooth running as the rake always follows the movements of the tractor and straightens itself. This type of suspension is also very gentle on the material. In the transport position, a lock prevents the machine from swinging out on the road

The installed gearbox is from the renowned Italian company Comer. A height adjustment using a hand crank ensures optimal and very easy-to-use adjustment of the tine height to the ground.

Chassis type TANDEM (four wheels working in pairs); This arrangement ensures the correct positioning of the machine for all ground conditions. A feeler wheel is also installed.

The machine is delivered complete with a 270Nm drive shaft with M34 freewheel
